Beckets Inn, Glastonbury

The Beckets Inn is a pub full of history the listed building still has many features of old especially the land lord John aka "Victor Meldrew" John can be whitty charming or down right grumpy but a loveable chap at that. Between himself and his lovely wife Brigid they can tell you all of Glastonbury's history and legends, and not least how to cook a good curry. They bestow a warm welcome and gratitude apon all whom enter their little haven for the thirsty. The garden is a sanctuary for wild life and some describe it as Glastonbury's best kept secret. Unless Brigid is screaming at John for a hand of course.The Inn has three Bars all very different from each other.They serve fine ales and hold excellent Themed Nights, Great Pub.5*
