The Plough Inn, Shifnal

Decent real ale pub recently reopened after being a resturant for many years , to the right of the entrance is a small room divided from the rest of the pub by the skelatal remains of an old wall , the bar is at a slight angle to the left , the pub then narrows before opening out again to the rear and then leads out to a patio . There are a lot of old beams and the walls are painted a nie shade of red . Eight handpulls with a good range of ales available ,Three Tuns Stout , Hobsons Mild , Hobsons Bitter , Brough Pale , O`kells Red , Everards Tiger , Springhead Ginger and a very good St Austell Proper Job . Servie was good and loals friendly , well worth a visit

This pub has been re-opened, refurbished and specialises in real cask ales and real cask ciders, lagers, stouts guiness, bottled beers, fine wines and spirits. It has 8 ales on the pull with a stock of at least 30 ales ready to go on as the demand is so high. Food is available daily 7 days a week and offers home cooked meals of good portions and great quality 2 for £10. There is alot being planned for this venue with a garden area at the rear of considerable size currently under development.
