The Shakespeare, Bridgnorth

The Shakespeare looks like a really nice pub from the outside and the old style road signs on the outside of it looked nice. Once inside there is a small room to the front left and an open area to the front right,which has a darts board,the main room is to the rear,this is a long oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side,the front area of this room is bare boarded,the rear area is down one step and is carpeted and looks smarter,there is comfy bench seating facing the bar with chairs,the rear area has bench seating and chairs. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons EPA,which was not on top form and was just drinkable,the other real ale was Banks's Bitter. There was a TV on showing BBC news. The pub was empty on our Saturday dinner visit. This is a decent enough pub,just a shame the Marstons EPA was not up to scratch. Pub visited 29/4/2017
