Angel & Greyhound, St Clements, Oxford

I wasn’t that impressed with this place on my first visit, but I have been in a few times since and I think that it has improved and I quite like it in here now. On my most recent visit I had a few pints of very nice Waggle Dance in the Beer Garden at the back of the pub. I’ve found that the attitude of the staff can be a bit hit and miss, but I was served by a friendly barman this time. All of my visits have been during the daytime when this pub is fairly subdued, but there is a dartboard and a billiards table. There are usually some people dining and the food looks good, but I have never eaten here. The toilet is a bit of a trek upstairs and this is one of the more expensive pubs in the area, but I think that it is worth a visit.
