Trent Bridge Inn (JD Wetherspoon), Nottingham

The Trent Bridge Inn is a large pub that is adjacent to trent bridge cricket ground and looks towards the very busy trent bridge. This pub used to be an Ind Coope tied house and it has recently been taken over by Wetherspoons. Once inside there is an L shaped bar facing and there are no pumps on the bar area that faces the main door,there is a small seating area to the right and two more seating areas to the left the one to the far left resembles a library,if you walk dowm into the main bar area there are about 13 pumps on the bar and only two of these were repeated there was a good choice of micro beers on the bar and a few local ones,once through this room there is a large room to the left and the toilets are on ground level which makes a change for Spoons. I had a drink of Trent Bridge Ale which is brewed for the pub by Notingham Brewery and this was a very nice drink. I think Wetherspoons have made a really good job doing this pub up, the pub had a very nice atmosphere and there was a choice of rooms to drink in and all these looked nice and comfortable.
