The Miller, SE1

The Miller is an estate type pub just the sort i like going in,but this one is not really on a proper estate. Once inside this is a very big pub with lots of different drinking areas,the main room is T shaped with the bar facing,the room is bare boarded and the seating normal tables and chairs to the left and bench seating and leather settees t the right,there is some american diner type seating to the front and a pool table in a separate area to the rear. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Belhaven Golden Bay which went down very well,the other beer was Old Golden Hen. Decent background music was playing and the pub was almost empty on my Tuesday afternoon visit. I quite liked this pub,just a shame they dropped the "of Mansfield" from its name. Large un- interesting pub .Very busy with 3 cask beers from Greene King.
