This is a nice small pub hidden behind the Royal Exchange serving a very pleasant range of Shep Ales. It's a little bit difficult to find, as it is flush with the surrounding buildings and does not have a pub sign out front. Inside it has a very pleasant wood panelled décor with inlaid Shep Neame branded mirrors that give the place a feeling of being bigger than it actually is. It can get busy with the after work city workers, but its hidden location means it’s not on the route of the evening crowd. So when these thin out it becomes a nice place for a quiet relaxing pint. Have tried the Spitfire, Bishops finger and Master Brew during my visits and they have all been good
