Crown Inn, Slough

Looks nice from the outside, but the interior is dark and dismal. I like pubs with character, this one certainly hasn't any. Won't be visiting again. Two stars only because it was near Christmas and I was in a good mood

the best pub in slough for food and beer, and the best landlord and landlady with the most frendly and helpfull staff i have met. real ale at its best and freshly cooked food at fair prices (this pub is now closed yet another pub that build the trade up, so up the rent, extra £20,000 a year so goodby to a good pub)

Large Beer garden with fenced off horse fields out the back, play area for children in the back garden, smokers get to sit under a canopy by the back entrance to the pub, also a couple of tables outside the front. The Crown inn has plenty of spaces for parking.
