The Lamb, Berkhamsted

This is a former Allied Breweries pub. It is something of and old school pub well described below. For me it wasn't that exceptional at all, it is genuinely old but there must be hundreds of pubs similar to this in Southern England. The beers on offer were Tring Side Pocket For A Toad, Tring Ridgeway Bitter, Adnam's Ghost Ship and London Pride. This seems to be an improving line up on previous years from the reviews below. I went for the Ridgeway Bitter (£3.55) which was in excellent condition. It's a decent enough pub that is GBG 2015 listed but it's not in the same league as the Rising Sun on the other side of town.
