The Bell Inn, Cheltenham

Attractively tiled corner pub dead opposite the Bath Tavern, so no problem for a quick two pub crawl here then. The small front area houses the small rectangular bar and would be busy with about a dozen in , and then there is a larger space behind, which if the posters are to go by is used as one of the venues for the Cheltenham Folk festival. Comfortable traditional pub décor and along with a couple of the standard draft options the bar has three handpumps which were GK IPA, Adnams Broadside and one off for my visit. So not a great ale choice but a comfortable enough locals pub that was quite quiet on my mid-day visit.
