	Five Bells Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	Didn't get in this one as it opens at seven o'clock and I didn't have the chance.
	Nobody Inn Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	Nice enough pub which appeared to centre on Newby Wyke Brewery ales. Worth a revisit.
	Priory Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	Locals bar with only Courage on draft. Not really worth the walk out but it's now on the list.
	The Sir Isaac Newton Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	Bit upmarket but unfortunately one for the lager drinkers.
	The Tollemache Inn (JD Wetherspoon) Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	Standard Spoons - usual beers and a useful place to wait for the train.
	BeerHeadZ Grantham › Lincolnshire Recommended by custodian 42	New place by the looks. Decent selection of ales but too many people were round the bar when seats were available. Would revisit.
	BrewDog Newcastle Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Decent enough Brew Dog with the usual selection of ales. I personally am not that keen on the chain but the five of us had a decent drink and no doubt would come back if we revisit Newcastle.
	Pleased to Meet You Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Our first port of call on yesterdays visit and we hadn't been before. Decent selection of ales would make it worth a revisit, although during the afternoon as I would imagine it will get pretty busy on an evening.
	The Bridge Tavern Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	A decent selection of ales. We got talking to a local who said that this pub used to be the roughest one in Newcastle. Not being local ourselves we had no way of verifying this, but it certainly is worth a revisit as it stands.
	The Head of Steam Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	I'm sure this has taken as part of the huge long room what used to be the Bonding Warehouse, but could be wrong. Not a good as some of the other pubs but nothing particularly wrong with it. Worth a visit.
	The Broad Chare Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Decent selection of ale in this one without it breaking any records. Would probably revisit if in the area.
	The Tyne Bar Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Quite a decent pub after a walk along the river. It continued the day out in the same manner although I doubt I'll return despite the Free Trade just over the way.
	Free Trade Inn Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Probably the best pub of the day as it had Jaipur which is one of my favourites. One of our companions was starving by now so he had a pie which looked OK. By the way, take a pen to the toilets and see if you can find a space to write something!!
	The Tanners Arms Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	One the walk back into town we stopped at this one. Average selection of ales which was overshadowed by the pubs previously visited, but worth a visit.
	Ship Inn Newcastle Upon Tyne › Tyne & Wear Recommended by custodian 42	Back down Stepney Bank to this decent pub which had some good ales. Shame about the walk back to the main road!
