Tenby Harbwr Brewery Tap & Kitchen

An attractive looking pub in the heart of Tenby with plenty of hanging baskets outside to add to the appeal, it is, in fact, something of a disappointment when you get inside. There’s nothing especially wrong with it, but it’s all been opened out in ... [more>]

Nice enough pub serving about 6 real ales. Seating outside with nice views left/right/behind/front depending on which bench you're on.

An attractive pub in this small village, it certainly looks the part with it’s good sized beer garden at the front and plenty of flowers and other foliage covering the front elevation. Inside however, it doesn’t have quite the traditional charm one m... [more>]

A traditional looking pub in the centre of Tenby, it’s adorned with a number of hanging baskets which make it look quite attractive, although is probably also fairly essential as many other nearby hostelries follow a similar approach. A courtyard gar... [more>]

I went here for a celebratory party on finishing at Bar School in the summer of 1997. I think it was more of a night club than bar, with thumping music, flashing lights and dry ice. Not my thing at all. Closed in 2008 and now demolished.

A modern addition to the older main accommodation section, this is a typically bland and uninteresting hotel bar. It was mainly filled with residents eating on the Thursday night I visited. A pint of Fosters lager cost me £3.25 and Tennent's lager, S... [more>]

The Last Shift Inn sits in the small insignificant village of Braehead as it appears on the map. But the drive from North or South gives great views especially the more extensive panorama view to the South. The Inn appears to be a row of cottages and... [more>]

A very rustic feel within and lots to admire as you wind your way round the low ceiling of the interior to the tap room with it's six handpumps arranged along a rear wall and no bar, most unusual.Deservedly in the 2015 GBG,with well kept ale and the a... [more>]

There has been a significant internal refurb in a modern style which feels clean but sterile in an open plan interior that winds around an island bar. There is a large games room to the rear with a wide screen and darts boards in a somewhat austere sp... [more>]

An amazing JDW conversion from the old Union Club - the pictures do it better justice than my words but I'll have a go. Enter to a sumptuous lobby area with a grand staircase facing. On the lower floor are two bars over a myriad of characterful rooms... [more>]

A three-tiered mega Spoons, with a bar on each floor. Little of the original interior remains but the general décor is good - carpeted, wood panelling and various bits of local history and old portraits. The top tier is the best room, with stained gl... [more>]
