Virtually the same as the Flower Shop but the bar is to the left side. Similar beer offerings (not Doombar I am pleased to say) and again the craft ale was too cold.

The second of the trio of new bars opening in Mapperly Top is Copper. A similar layout to the Flower shop but in reverse with the bar running along the left hand side and without the extended dining area to the rear. Hard wood floors again but the atmosphere here was much more quaint and peaceful. There were not as many in but still a good number and the lighting was a little darker which made for a more chilled experience. I have been to their bar in the city and like this one much more, less hustle and bustle and more of a calming high street escape. The decor in here was also nicer than the flower shop and looked much more stylish compared the other that I thought was a bit too modern. There was only one hand pull on the bar and like the city centre bar always had navigations new Dawn pale ale on just like the flower shop next door did. It was 20p more here at £3.00 a pint but still what I would call good vale in a more upmarket place like this and a whole 60p less than what their bar in town charges. Strangely this tasted identical to the flower shop next door and thus was in an acceptable condition but nothing special. I found that the copper in town looked after the beer a lot better as this drink was much nicer in there in my opinion. Another reasonable bar offering ale and one that I like slightly better overall to the Flower shop as I could let my hair down and enjoy the beer a little more in here. Good as far as these places go.

Copper is next door but one to The Old Flower Shop,it is situated in Mapperleys shopping area.
Once inside there is a single long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the floor is bare boarded,the bar is on the mid left side.
The seating is comfy bench seats and chairs to the front,tall bench seating and tall chairs opposite the bar and more comfy bench seating and chairs to the rear.
There was one hand pump on the bar which had Navigation New Dawn Pale on,this was a nice drink.
Food was being served and background music was playing.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
This is in my opinion the best of the three Copper bars i have visited.
