The Peacock is an unusuall looking pub that is set back from church street.
When i first visited this pub it was a Shipstones tied house, once inside there was a largish bar and a decent comfortable lounge.
There were two real ales on here the Shiptstones bitter was a decent drink here there was also Shipstones mild.
This pub is still standing but i am not sure if is still open.
