The Weeping Ash is a Wetherspoons pub situated in the middle of St Neots.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the room is divided into different areas, the bar is on the right side, the room is part carpeted and tiled, the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs, plus some tall tables and chairs near the bar.
The beer choice was pretty poor,i had a drink of Wolf Lavender Honey which tasted better than i thought it would, the other beers noted were Grafton Saffron Porter, plus the Spoons regulars Doom Bar,Ruddles best and GK Abbot.
This was a decent enough Spoons to start our crawl of the area..

This is a Spoons based in an old post office building. It consists of four areas, there is a small pleasant area as you enter and then the bar area is based in some sort of shed-like building that would probably have been the sorting office. Presumably the front area was where the post office counters were. The bar is to the right in the shed and to the rear and left are extensions with tables for eating. The rear extension leads to a patio. The furnishings were a bit better than some older outlets.
The bar has two sets of five hand pumps. These had the JDW Trio Of Doom, Celt Experience Cardiff Resin, Elland Nettle Thrasher and four festival ales with one that had gone. I tried the Everard's JDW Irish Red and the Caledonian Bravo Four Point both at £2.15 and in decent nick. It was doing a brisk trade on my Friday midday visit.
I thought this was a decent enough Spoons but let down by one of the bar staff who with every order was asking "Who's next?". They only do that in my local Spoons if they have just returned to the bar from elsewhere.

Fairly new and comfortable Wetherspoon's that had a fair range of guest ales on.
