After a sustained period of closure, the Stores has re-opened after a huge refurbishment and is owned by the same small chain who have the Shurlock Inn at Shurlock Row. No cask ale available. Members lounge on third floor.

Feb 2013
The Egyptians have gone and there seems to be a rather revolving door of temporary licensees. Ale is all over place as you'd expect. Hopefully it'll settle down soon.

November 2011
Small cosy bar offering 3-4 Fullers ales in decent, if not often spectacular, condition. Prices have skyrocketed - £3.40 last night for Pride, £3.80 for ESB. An Italian/Mediterranean restaurant is upstairs. Interior has some nice beams and a little bit of rustic charm. Building is a fantastic conversion of an old corn stores. Useful for a quick beer by the station but not essential.

Steve C left this review about The Corn Stores

Late on Saturday afternoon a couple of Saturdays ago I visited the Corn Stores for the first time in over ten years. I used to work around the corner, but I didn’t really use this pub as I found it a little grubby and depressing. It is much cleaner now, but in my opinion it has the character of a bar rather than a proper pub.
To the left of the entrance is a staircase that I didn’t climb but I did glean from a chalkboard on the wall that the upstairs is called the WP bar where food can be purchased. A singer was also advertised from 21:00 which was a little later than my visit.
The main bar is at street level where there are some tables and chairs along with some sofa seating by the large front window. The bar is located in the right rear corner where there is a limited draught selection alongside San Miguel. There are also four hand pumps, one of which was unused leaving Fuller’s London Pride, Seafarers and ESB as the ale options.
Outside the entrance is a covered table with some seating that was being used by a small group of smokers.

This place is ok for a couple of beers if passing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit as I prefer a proper pub.
