Light wood oblong room. Too small for the custom, very cramped. Queueing at the bar, urgh. However, it is GBG listed and there were five guest ales; my Oakham was superb (NBSS 5) and the Titanic On Duty was also pretty good (3.5). Notably friendly staff. There’s really not much going on in Nuneaton barring ginormous PIP payments so this place is a simple default for cask quality if you are in town for a couple of hours.

First in the queue for the bar! Since that's the rule in this Wetherspoons (and others as well, from what I understand). Not much point trying to describe the place, as it looks just like any other once you're inside, sat at your numbered table admiring the unique carpet. It is, though, a bit dark, making reading a bit of a pain (it's currently mid-afternoon). Service is better than quite a few of the chain. There's 4 guest ales alongside 3 regulars.
As Nuneaton doesn't seem to be overwhelmed with too many options for a decent pint, you may as well give the Felix Holt a try - it's alright, and cheap, just as you'd expect it to be.

Ah.... JDW on a Saturday Afternoon - the equivalent of being trapped in a real life Hogarth Painting.

Filthy Tables
Prams parked next to mobility scooters
Pensioners on their hands and knees after the loose change dropped by someone else
Parties doing shots at 1pm
An airport length single file queue at a long bar
The beer was excellent - Oakham Inferno - and ordering from the Apps bypassed the bar scrum. Nine chips on my dinner plate. Facebook has suggested I might be interested in joining the "Wetherspoons Paltry Chip Count Club". I did and it is hilarious.
