This hotel is in the pleasant village of New Galloway. Good bar meals, friendly service. Very clean and comfy bar. There is a separate restaurant. Beers include Youngers and John Smiths. All facilities are accessible.

A family run small hotel with bar that is very popular with a wide range of locals, making it busy at weekends and, unlike many local pubs these days, generally has a few people in on week nights, making it a good choice for a mid-week pint. Nothing for real ale buffs, but that apart a really good example of a proper community pub, recommended to locals & visitors alike.
