In many ways just what a pub should be - big open fire, two real ales and no television in the bar. Unfortunately not as popular as it should be with the locals, so can be vey quite, which is fine if drinking in company, but for the solo drinker can be a bit off putting. Overall though well worth a vist for those who enjoy their real ales.
