I live directly accross from the Travellers Rest and for the past week or so, the pub has been closed. It seems so strange as the pub only opened it's doors again in October, after being closed down for several months.

NOW OPEN
None of the promised real ales available on opening day and only the carvery for food.
Modern interior well laid out will try again once opening niggles are sorted.
If Rob can get the beer sorted this should be the top watering hole in the area.
Will have John Smiths and Old Speckeld Hen plus a guest (Landlord to start with) available.
Meals will range £3.95 and the carvery will be £3.50 Mon-Sat more on a Sunday.
