Average Rating: 
A popular pub frequented mainly by the biking community of the area. Bike clubs regularly meet up here. Rock bands play regularly at weekends and during the week.
As of July 08 The Lion has had a major outside makeover, with the tired gable wall recieving a fresh rendering and paint job, the old signage has now been replaced by an unimaginative sign simply stating THE LION. On the whole it looks 100% more pleasing on the eye.
The Lionfest Rock festival is set to take place in August, with the large carpark as the setting for the outside stage location.
