Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Yew Tree

Estate pub / restaurant built by Marston's but no obvious branding and none of its own products on sale as far as I can see. Anyway, the front bar is simply but tidily furnished and has the expected features such as a pool table, etc. The much larger rear room with its 'Restaurant Entrance' is of plain modern furniture and has a separate servery for both eat-in and takeaway curry / tandoori food as well as a bar counter. There is also a slightly implausible 'Banquet Entrance', presumably leading to a function room. No handpumps, so went for the Caffrey's (£2.50) for a change.

A detached Marston's foody pub and eatery, with patio area. The pub is a modern-ish rebuild of an earlier one, in what was then called Ireland Green. The place is in white brick. The core is a Swiss Cottage - with a steep pitched roof that has a dormer range - there is a low-level extension and around and a twin-gabled larger extension off to the side. The interior has two rooms. The back room is the lounge/dining area. This area has it all, from a sofa to general tables and chairs. It is in red, white, fake beam and it part-partioned up. A few plates and sport pictures are dotted about. There are a couple of TVs (music channel) and a pool table. The front room is the Stroller's Bar - this is in white and red, with a brown carpet and has a TV (daytime progs) and lots of Baggies stuff on the walls. Also, a sofa in the middle of the room. The service was friendly and it has a mixed clientele. Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's Bitter and Cumberland Ale on handpull - the Cumberland was decent enough. A food place without anyone eating - but alright to stop-off for a pint.
