Unfortunately on our visit they only had Doom Bar and Pedigree, no London Pride to be seen anywhere. The front bar was quite busy on our visit with a few of the locals I had seen earlier over the road in The Ale Rooms. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, the restaurant area situated down the left hand side and rear was also busy on our Saturday afternoon visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery Wilson Arms
Once known as the Wilson Arms, this is one of the chain's more pub-like outlets (to the extent that there is still a dartboard). Seemingly created from an agglomeration of at least three buildings of different ages, it has been partly opened-out inside to leave a wide range of seating / dining areas. Also has some wooden tables on the small front beer garden. Surprisingly, perhaps, there was Doom Bar and Pedigree (£1.55, half) on from the two banks of three handpumps, with London Pride appearing to be the other regular according to a sign on the counter.

Pretty standard place but still a couple of ales on. OK for one but not my idea of a pub.
