Visited this pub during the England game in October. The landlord keeps this place well with nice woodwork & copper topped tables & a reasonable variety of drinks. The clientel are a good mix, a colourful bunch of ages & ethnic backgrounds. I have to say this place was refreshing as everyone got on well, old & young alike & my wife & I thoroughly loved the experience. Add to boot, this was the first west indian run pub I'd ever been in & I guess that explained the good naturedness of it.The pub is well situated to a good selection of indian restaurants in the famous Balti Belt on Ladypool road so naturally we popped back for one for the road after we ate . I could go on and on about our night at the clifton. I must go back again. I must
