Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Clive & Coffyne

This fine-looking old building may be in the Good Beer Guide, but proved to be far from what I was expecting on Friday evening. Bouncers on the door, and full-on party time in the rear function room. The main bar at the front was also getting quite boisterous by 21:00. Beer-wise, just Doom Bar (£2.80) available from the four handpumps, with reversed Greene King IPA, Abbot and Hobson's Best Bitter clips also visible.

The Clive and Coffeyn is a black and white fronted pub that is situated next door to the Sandbrook Vaults.
Once inside there was a single L shaped room which had a low beamed ceiling, the floor was bare boarded and the right side which extended to the rear of the pub was down one step.
The seating was bench type at the front which was quite comfortable with normal tables and chairs.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Sharps Doom Bar which was drinkable but pretty bland, the other beer was Bombardier.
This was a decent enough pub that was let down by the choice of beer on the bar,the pub was also almost empty on my mid saturday afternoon visit.
