This is the smallest BrewDog I’ve visited and the first with a plastered ceiling! However, they’ve added some grills to try and give an edgy vibe. In the front right window is a snug and the short bar runs along the right wall. A long high bench runs down the centre to banquettes along the rear wall. The only give away that this is a BrewDog is the board on the back bar that lists the craft keg range. My visit was around 21:00 on a recent Thursday evening so I was surprised to find only one other customer in here. Doesn’t bode well for the future.

Yet another first into a Growley Road pub, formerly the New Inn, with the Allsopp's Burton Ales sign still covered up.
Inside, you know what to expect with of course no real ale. What I wasn't expecting was the pricing structure: prices are given by size - pint, half, or 2/3rds - and only available in the specified sizes. So some drinks are served in either pint, half or 2/3rds only. If you want a half of something advertised as a pint, that's fine but you'll still have to pay the price of a pint if you opt for a half, presumably therefore if something is sold as a half, you can't buy a pint? Or is a pint the price of a half(!?).
No thanks, so I was off. This probably appeals if you're into BrewDogging, but this isn't my thing so I'll not be back, especially given that the prices here are probably some of the highest in the city and the location is none too desirable.

Now completely BrewDogified (what a horrible word) along with the standard cinema frontage beer selection above and behind the bar. All keg as you'd expect with a variety of styles available along with bottles and cans in the fridge. The booths opposite the bar are now converted to cages and the area beyond the bar is all high-seated communal tables. Not one of BrewDog's best efforts, but nonetheless it was packed on a Sunday evening visit and the staff were on great form, and had disparaging Twitter quotes about BrewDog on the back of their shirts which was a great British self-depracating touch. People love or hate 'em, but they've resurrected a dying pub here so handclaps all 'round.
