Alan Winfield left this review about The Red Cow

The Red Cow was a decent looking old pub that was in the shadow of the very tall windmill lane flats.
There were a couple of rooms in this smallish pub and it was fairly basic but still nice enough.
The pub was a John Smiths tied house but there were no real ales on here for as long as i could remember so it was a choice of John Smiths bitter or Chestnut mild this was the better option.
Sadly this pub was pulled down about 10 years ago and there is still nothing on its site to this day, what a waste of a decent old pub.
