This pub used to be called the Smiths Arms and it was a Shipstones tied house, this pub is just around the corner from the King william 1V.
Once inside this pub there is a lounge to the right and the bar is just behind this but you can see through from the lounge to the bar there is also a pool table in the bar.
I sat in the lounge at the front this is basic but i was very comfortable and there was decent music playing making my visit here all the more better.
There were two real ales on the bar both from Barnsley brewery i had a drink of Barnsley bitter which was very nice and only £1.66 a pint the other beer was Oakwell Mild,i think this maybe a Barnsley tied house as there was Barnsley Oakwell lager on as well.
I thought this was a really decent pub with a really nice drink and i will be coming back here again.
