The Concertina Band Club building looks a bit grim from the outside.
Once inside there was a large square shaped room with the bar to the left, the main area had comfy bench seating around the edge of the room and lots of normal tables and chairs in the middle of it,there was a large stage which looked like it was being used as a storage area, there was a smaller room to the rear which had a pool table and dart board in it,this was in use.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Concertina Club bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beers from Concertina were Bengal Tiger and Old Dark Attic, the other beer was John Smiths cask.
The pub was fairly quiet on my Saturday dinner visit apart from a couple of dart players and what looked like two beer tickers.
The pub opens 12 till 4pm on a saturday dinner, not sure about the evenings.

Although at first glance this looks like a semi-derelict factory unit, the Tina is in fact still a going concern. The sign on the side wall features the badge of the long defunct Wards brewery, but in fact this is the home of the award winning Concertina Brewery.

The understated entrance leads directly to the bar area, with a small room further on which has a pool table and a large TV screen. There is no membership requirement, although the main room still looks like what you would expect of a club rather than a pub. The bar has six hand pumps, of which four had pump clips on my recent visit. Three of their own beers (Old Dark Attic, Club Bitter and Bengal Tiger) were supplemented by John Smiths Bitter.

On the day I was there the Tina was open from 2pm to 4pm and from 7:45 until late, but it's probably best to phone in advance to check opening times if you're thinking of paying a visit.
