A pleasant back street local in a Victorian terrace, as described by others, below. The T-shaped bar was mainly carpeted, the was a dart board, woodburner, piano and multiple TV screens showing sports. Of the three pumps on the bar one was dry, one served Doombar and the third was Cheddar Valley Cider. The Doombar was in average condition, the cider was a better bet. Keg choices were Madri, Brixton Pale Ale, San Miguel and Moretti. It’s a decent enough local, worth a pint if passing.

Finally, a drinking visit! It’s a straightforward locals pub with two rooms smooshed into one. The right side has an apex end and a pool table. Two tone blues and white is the main colour scheme and despite some signs of a refurb since 2008, more work remains to be done to stop it looking tatty. Three pumps but all casks were off so half a Guinness sufficed. Uninspiring, unfortunately. 4.5

Backstreet corner boozer at the end of the street I grew up in. It used to be painted blue then. Popped in to see what was going on 21 years after moving away – the answer was not much. Two unused handpumps, a fairly basic and grubby interior and a couple of shifty-looking locals. Given there are three other pubs within a few hundred yards of here I think this has ended up being the poor relation. Still, the name and the pub sign (still the same one almost a quarter of a century later) are of passing interest. Unrated.

New Found Out is a decent looking corner pub.
Once inside the bar faces in a U shaped room, there is a wood laminate floor, there is bench seating and small stools to the front,a pool table to the rear right and darts board to the rear left, the TV was showing a film on mute, not sure why it was on,background music was playing.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Doom Bar,this was a decent drink.
Not as good as the three other nearby pubs.

Fairly basic local which could do with a bit of TLC. I think it's been tidied up a bit since I was last in there, but it could still do with a bit more. There seemed to be a few "characters" in there. Pool table and darts board.
Three hand pumps on the bar, but only one appeared to be in use, dispensing Courage Best. Also Addlestones & Blackthorn cider.
