This is the local Camra Pub of the Year. There are four hand pumps, all serving pale beers at the time of my visit: Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted, Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Wells DNA and Mordue Northumbrian Blonde. Only the main front room was open at the time of my visit - there's a lounge further round to the rear that presumably only open at busy times of the week. The front room is quite small, with the pool table taking up a lot of space. There are stools at the bar and booth seating elsewhere. It's no doubt deserving of its Camra awards, but it would have been nice to see a little more variety in the beer options. That said, my Bitter & Twisted was in very good condition and went down a treat.

The bar has a choice of 4 Cask Marque Real Ales. They are changed on a regular basis. Old fashioned bulding which has been moderised inside to a high standard. The place has a lot of upcoming events , so it's better to check out the pubs website to see what's on - www.forries.co.uk. Food is served - Monday Closed (Bar Open as Usual)--Tuesday 12.00pm - 2.00pm--Wednesday Closed(Bar Open as Usual)--Thursday-Saturday 12.00pm - 3.00pm--Sunday Closed (Bar Open as Usual.
