The Millstream is a nice looking pub that is close to a stream and not the junction of Willian Road.
Once inside there is a roughly L shaped room with the bar on the rear right side,the floor is bare boarded,there is comfy bench seating and small stools to the front and a raised area to the left,the rear area looked like it was more for diners.
The pub is a McMullens tied house which pleased me,there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of McMullens AK,which was a very nice drink,there was also MCMullens 1827 and IPA on the bar.
I thought this was a pleasant pub in a decent setting that is well away from the middle of Hitchin.

Had a fantastic meal for the second time in this pub. The food was lush. Had steak and salad then gorg waffles. The staff treated my family like royalty. This is with no doubt the best place to eat in Hitchin and enjoy a nice cold beer. Yes more expensive but well worht it. Thank you Millstream, see you again soon at the quiz on wednesday.
