The Farmers Arms is a decent looking stand alone pub which still has its Higsons signage in place.
Once inside the rooms have been opened out but still seem like different areas, the bar is the the front right, there is a small snug the front left, there is a larger room to the rear, the room is are carpeted and have comfy bench seating with chairs and small stools.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter which went down well, the other beers were Adnams Bitter,Thwaites Wainwright and Ruddles Best.
The pub was quite busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit.
I quite liked this pub, just a shame it is not an Higsons house anymore.

Decent clean and tidy Wallasey Village pub with plenty of dark wood panelling and a cosy back room beyond the bar area. There were 4 real ales to select from and thought the pub had a good atmosphere about it.Worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Good pub. Serves a selection of real ales and seems quite friendly.
