Title: Circular Walk of the Floating Harbour - Bristol
Creator: Steve of N21

Description:
A circular walk of the Floating harbour from Peros Bridge, up to The Cumberland Basin and then back on the otherside taking in the SS Great Britain if you are so inclined.
We did it in a sunny Sunday lunch time when the outside areas with waterside views of several of these pubs can be fully utilised.

Switch to route map:

V-Shed (1)
Typical Wetherspoons pub, but a good place to start either for a cheep morning fry up or an early pint, or both.
The Grain Barge (2)
Beer on a boat and Bristol Brewery Beers to boot. Not to be missed.
The Pump House (3)
Former pumping station for the basin. Bit of a modern decor and gastro food menu, but beers were good and the oustide drinking area is very pleasant.
Nova Scotia (4)
Probably the most traditional of all the pubs down this end. Fairly close to the Pump House, but worth a visit whilst on your way to the Cottage Inn.
The Cottage Inn (5)
Worth a stop here for the views alone, but the Butcombe Beers are good as well.
Orchard Inn (6)
One for the Apple and Paer basde drink lovers. A visit to the SS Great Britain or a pint of Perry, your choice
Ostrich Inn (7)
Best visited on a pleasant day when the outside drinking area can be fully utilised.
