As described by the previous reviewer, with the addition of a pool table. Just Pedigree on, but in good condition (NBSS 3) and just £3.90/pint. Service was friendly and I was wished a safe journey as I left. |

Recently reopened after what must have been an expensive refurbishment. I was busy admiring the decor and then turned to look at the bar, with pump clips turned around. The lass who served me explained that the line from the cellar to the bar is so l... [more>] |

This Robinsons pub seems much as described by the late, lamented Aqualung. I stopped for a swift half on my A496 pub photography route, and what a half it was: Cascade IPA 4.8%. I've had this in a few Robinsons pubs, but this was as good as I've had:... [more>] |

A micro on the station's platform 1, a square room about 20 foot each side. Access is from both outside and the platform and as Grantham has no ticket barriers you could go in one side and out the other for your train, one of the several hectoring s... [more>] |

Large dark painted corner pub on a busy road junction, internally it’s U shaped in brown tongue and groove and cream walls. The U shaped counter takes up a central length of the left side with a mix of seating all round. There’s a screen at each end ... [more>] |

A mediaeval half timbered building in a street of Georgian and older buildings in the heritage area near St Wulfram's church, with six pumps it ticks a few Camra boxes so you’ll not be surprised that it’s in the GBG 2025. The choice of cask was less ... [more>] |

On the southern outskirts of the town, GBG 2025 listed but another filler I’m guessing. A community pub, most of the community was blocking the bar in the public while the lounge was deserted. I could tell it was the public bar as it had three dart b... [more>] |

An L shaped ‘spoons with a very long, long side to the L. The front is on the long, long, main street of Grantham almost next to the unimpressive town hall. The counter is also L shaped but an equal length in each direction. Three sets of five pulls ... [more>] |

Quite a splendid late Victorian ex-bank building however inside is a very large single space with raised areas to front and in a back corner. The long L shaped counter takes up the centre left while the outer walls have semi booth banquettes. Low and... [more>] |

A decent looking pub on the outside, inside of course has been messed about with, opened out and extended to the rear giving an L shape to the place. Entering at the front the counter is ahead and extends back along the long side of the L, it’s a dec... [more>] |
