Chris McMullen left this review about The Ship In Distress
A renowned Fish Restaurant and Bar, using local supplies from Christchurch Bay, and The Solent, where possible.
Always best to book, especially in the summer, as numbers swell with families on holiday in the area. Good car parking at rear, with back pub entrance, sometimes more preferable than using the front door, which fronts the narrow pavement and main thoroughfare. Wet ankles are common during storms, from passing traffic.
