Called in here on Saturday evening and the place was heaving with people both inside and out. Taproom for Ashover Brewery, they've done a nice job here. Bar is immediately inside the entrance on the left, with a green tiled bar front. Plenty of seating areas both downstairs and on the first floor in this nice old building. 5 ales on offer from the 6 handpumps, 4 from Ashover and 1 guest. Beers were Ashover Rusty, Victorian Ruby Mild, White Lion, Turning Stone and a guest Pool Brewing Bending Corners. I had the White Lion priced at £2.55 a half, which was nice, but am not a fan of Ashover beers. It's a nice addition to Derby and I imagine it will do well.
