As you might expect, a brewery in a modern unit on a trading estate on the edge of town. They have made a fair stab at a taproom however, keeping it entirely separate from the brewing area in a large, brightly-painted and well-lit room with reasonable furnishings. Even a dartboard is provided. The home-made wooden bar at the back holds 6 handpumps and a couple of keg taps serving their own brews, while another counter serves pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar now opens Thursdays to Sundays. While clearly not a conventional pub, it is quite nice as taprooms go and certainly not a bad place for a pint or several.

Twenty or so minutes walk from the town centre it’s a fairly well appointed brewery tap, breeze block construction so it’s never going to be charming or characterful. Properly furnished with low tables and chairs plus a higher table with machinist stools of which there are more by the counter. One table is a pallet balanced on some empty kegs. The counter inevitably is fronted with pallet wood and supports six pulls and two keg solos. There’s some more rudimentary seating outside. Opens Friday and Saturday only
