A small café bar allegedly in the Breton style, spread over three floors of a corner shop. There is no proper bar as such, you take your seat and get table service from a charming but slightly clueless PYT who fundamentally fails to inform you that your drink will be tiny and expensive. There is a variety of French-style light snacks on offer, but nothing really by way of thirst-quenching beverages, just coffee. There is Breton cider and pink beer available in very small measures at eye watering prices, so you have to strike a balance between how quickly you spend money on unsatisfying drinks and how much you want to listen to annoying American tourists wittering on about nothing at full volume. The whole venture represents very poor value for money even by Bath’s standards.
