A slightly ramshackle and tatty taproom with a ghost train type theme. There were three Werewolf beers on along with three guests, all keg of course, I tried a two of their own beers Horrorshow, which was good and Psycobilly which was very good. It's a bit off the beaten track and was quite quiet, maybe as a result of its location but is worth seeking out.

Another day in London and another railway arch-based microbrewery to check out, this one just a short walk from Camden Town tube station. You approach via a small access road, which has been decorated with a load of horror themed characters that look like they were salvaged from an old ghost train ride. It’s quite a cool introduction to this quirky spot and worked pretty well on a dark Winter’s evening in particular. As you approach the arch, you first pass through a tented area out the front, which squeezed in two or three canteen tables and benches for the smokers and al-fresco drinkers. Passing through the shuttered entrance, you enter a concrete floored room with corrugated metal clad walls and vaulted ceiling. Most of the brew kit stands to the right, with the bar stuck on the rear wall and a good amount of canteen bench seating down the left and through the centre. If all this sounds like a typical, boring railway arch taproom experience, it’s worth labouring the point that the cheerful American brewer has really made an effort to try and provide some points of difference here. These include a whole load of werewolf themed bits and bobs on the walls, a great old-school juke box covered in cool stickers for various punk bands, one of those hot-dog heating cabinets, and a food counter offering various satisfyingly unhealthy pub snacks. The bar itself has quite a pleasant counter and some of those decorative American beer taps for the various draught keg options.
There were five Werewolf beers available on keg when I visited, and I opted for the American pale Ale, which I thought was excellent. The brewer was very friendly and chatted to me about the beers and how the brewery’s anniversary was celebrated, rather appropriately, on Halloween.
This is quite a basic little place with the usual taproom format for such a venue, but there was enough going on here to make it more interesting than the average railway arch brewery, whilst the beer seemed to be top-notch based on the one I tried. With friendly service and some limited outdoor seating as well, this stood out a little from the great many similar venues around the capital, and with no stand-out pubs in this part of Camden, I’m sure I’ll be popping back some time soon.

Another brewery tap in a railway arch.Very limited opening hours just now.long tables and benches for seating inside and out. Some spooky artifacts and some funfair carriages give some colour to the place.Three keg beers brewed on site. The two i tried were decent.
