Home of the Dopey Dick brewery this is a recent opener done in the classic urban craft bar style; large, echoey, high-ceilinged, exposed brick, industrial ducts, coated scree floor – you know the score. Plus points are fish scale illuminated bar front and the comfy semi-booth seating facing the bar. We sampled a couple of the (keg) Dopey Dick Brews, the IPA and Red Ale were on draught along with another 10 or so Irish brews, the Session IPA was nice but the Red Ale was poor. Atmosphere a bit flat but it was a Monday evening I suppose, You’d be well-advised to head here for a brew as it’s easily the best selection going in the city.
