If this was indeed an old bank there's little or no evidence left inside now. Exactly as described by Steve below, except that on my visit only Wainwright was availabe and no-one was drinking it, so I had a half of Estrella. This looks like it will turn into Westhoughtons party central on Friday & Saturday nights. Not for me and it certainly wouldn't be on a Friday or Saturday night.

The Bank is an open plan rectangular bar with an L-shaped serving counter up the right adjacent to the entrance. Two hand pumps are supported, Wainwright and Handsome Brewery’s Handsome Hound were both on during a recent midweek early evening visit. Standard and premium keg were also available from the friendly team working the bar. A DJ booth opposite the bar counter is bookended by seating that runs up the left-hand wall. At the rear are some high tables, a pool table and a dartboard. In the right rear wall is a serving hatch for the kitchen that prepares mostly grilled and fried foods, the burger is a tenner. It wasn’t that busy, with only a handful of locals in, but there was a decent atmosphere, and who doesn’t like a bit of eighties and nineties pop. This isn’t somewhere I plan to revisit, but I’d probably use it intermittently if I lived locally.
