One of East Hull's many estate pubs, and hardly a surprise to find there's no real ale. The lounge bar is to the right, public to the left; this is a clean, smart and friendly pub, with venetian blinds according to my notes made at the time (wouldn't have remembered the blinds otherwise). There's a small sitting out area at the front, which hardly deserves the name of beer garden, while the indoor attractions include live sports on TV, pool and darts, and "live entertainment". No doubt it gets busy at times, but this is not my sort of place at all.
