Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Floodgate
Mostly a 'competitive socialising' hall with scaled-down baseball, curling and other ball games in cricket-type nets. That said, there are plenty of general tables in front of the bar and to one side. Plenty of neon but otherwise all quite basic. No real ale, with several Brooklyn keg beers and the dull 'house' Bleachers (£4.60). Overall impression: cold and unwelcoming.
