I’m not really sure what to say about Shambles and I’m certainly not sure why it was so busy when I visited on a recent Thursday afternoon. A small raised seating area is under the front window and the small bar on the right wall faces seating down the left. The bar supports five keg products, one of which was Gullp Ale which was served far too cold and tasted awful. There was some weird background music playing. To be honest I think this place is trying too hard to be quirky. I’ll not be returning.
