The Arden Arms is a small pub with a U shaped bar on the rear wall bookended by seating to the left and right. More seating is found in the front right where there is a large tiled fireplace with burner. To the left is a separate room with a pool table and dartboard. Televisions are found throughout for viewing live sport and there is also a jukebox that was inactive. The bar supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti and Timothy Taylors Historical Storm. The three handpumps were drawing Black Sheep’s Best, TT Landlord and Pennine Brewing’s IPA. I thought the service was friendly and I enjoyed my visit, although I’m not sure I would tackle the walk from Denton to revisit.
