Large bar on a parade of shops in the southern suburbs of Worcester. It was quite lively on our Friday evening visit. We arrived to find a large bar, billed as a micropub but with many characteristics that are not typical of micropubs.

This is quite a large premises and we arrived to almost a full house with steamy windows and loud music. There were plenty of dogs in too.

Wye Valley Butty Bach is the regular ale. The guests were Abbeydale Ursa Major & Green Duck Big Freeze. It appeared that bar staff were pulling through another beer on a 4th handpull. But they informed me that it wouldn't be on until the following day. Ciders were Lilley's Strawberry & Thatcher's Cheddar Valley. Crate IPA & Beavertown Neck Oil were the craft beers.

It was a bit too large and noisy with too many canines for my liking. However I may just have been unlucky with the timing of my visit. I'd certainly give it another go, if only to get a takeaway from the chip shop a few doors up, where portions were generous to say the least.

Small suburban shopping arcade shop conversion, but none the worse for that as the local Ale House micro-pub chain know what they're doing, and there's no competition for some distance. Perhaps a few more tables than most, but the look and feel is exactly what you would expect, and the place was full of happy conversation on my Thursday evening visit. Four real ales on handpump - Butty Bach, Castle Rock's Harvest Pale, the ridiculously named Piffle Snooker from Froth Blowers and Mallinson's Nectaron (£4.00). First class.

Quite enjoyed our visit here, we popped in on a Saturday afternoon and the pub was reasonably quiet. We sat at a table near the bar chatting to one of the locals plus the friendly barmaid, so spent a couple of hours in here.
Four handpumps serving Butty Bach, Pale Brummie, St Austell Anthem and Titanic Plum Porter. The interior was a good size, with the bar area positioned at the far end. All the woodwork was bare timber, which had been scorched with a blowtorch, the walls were adorned with small tapestries. This mode of interior decor can be seen throughout their chain of pubs. The prices in here were reasonable at £3.70 a pint. The bus stop is right outside plus a chippy and a Chinese takeaway next door.
