New micropub in Formby's pleasant main shopping area. Service from the friendly young barmaid was good.
4 handpulls were dispensing Twisted Wheel Come & Go - Talus, Big Bog Padi, Rock The Boat Bootle Bull & Handsome Osprey. A board at the side of the bar had space for a cider, but had been left blank. So I guess a real cider may occasionally be available.
Not as cosy as some micropubs. Indeed, it felt more like a bar than a micropub. But still a decent addition to Formby's drinking scene.

A good sized micropub with ample seating both inside and out in the front. The interior had dark grey floor tiles and the walls were cladded using marine ply down the left hand side along with dark blue painted walls down the right. The bar was positioned in the left hand side corner. The barman was very professional and noticed that l was struggling with my first pint of Neptune ale, it was at the end of the cask and immediately without any comment from myself he exchanged it for another beer and removed the pumpclip. So now three pumps on the bar serving, Parker Saxon Red Ale, Liverpool Brewing 24 Carat Gold and Top Rope American Dream Pale ale. I went for the Top Rope which was a good choice.
