Mid afternoon on a grim Lenten Saturday found eight drinkers plus a man with Guitar making a full house in this neat and attractive micro bar.Local opinion holds that cask beer is available: alas, not today.An eclectic beer list, comprising a stout, a sour, IPAs and IPLs, together with a considerable offering of ciders. All beers at £5/pint, with no facilities for cash payment.
I rather enjoyed my brief visit, inspite of the music and fizzy beer,( my glass of Twisted Wheel Mosaic IPL was most acceptable.)I don't drink in either of the other Headcorn pubs: I would make an exception here.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tap 17
New micro-pub with limited seating indoors but this is supplemented by a basic compact beer garden at the back and a couple of chairs out on the pavement. No handpumps on the narrow counter, and it's not clear whether the ales are key-keg or not. However, I found a couple of beers from Cellar Head - White Water and Wonderland (both £5.00) - KGB from Kent Brewery (with The Quiet American coming next) and Edinburgh Beer Factory's Raspberry Pale. NB - The website says that bookings need to be made by Facebook, but you can take pot luck if you are unable or unwilling to do that and they are happy to fit you in if they can a free seat, but there really is no room for standing.
