Will Larter left this review about Hymn to Ninkasi

Given the address, it's no surprise to find that Hymn to Ninkasi - the Sumerian goddess of beer - is in a wedge-shaped building! A lot of the space is taken up with four chiller cabinets full of cans and bottles from a wide range of the beer spectrum, at what seemed to be pretty reasonable prices. The bar is at the thicker end of the wedge, with toilets and a beer store behind. The counter is quite deep, with three taps on the wall behind providing Paulaner lager, a saison from local St Mars of the Desert, and the session IPA that I went for: Lervig House Party. It would be a fairly sober party if everyone was on this 4% smooth, opaque, pale beer with the appearance of a fruit juice. There are a few seats and standing places inside, and there's a small patio outside, delimited by plant boxes and containing two tables with benches to either side. (Given the open nature of the area, these are of the "no point in stealing this" variety.) Service was polite and friendly, and I would be happy to come back another time if someone suggested it, but with so many good - make that "great" - pubs within spitting distance, I think it's unlikely.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hymn to Ninkasi

Newish bottle shop and bar in the Little Kelham development, housed in a wedge-shaped corner unit. Indoor seating limited to one large canteen-style table and some high stools beside the window ledges, but another couple of large tables can be found outside. Three craft beers on the keg taps: Paulaner lager, Lervig House Party and Dark Arts chocolate stout from Magic Rock (£3.30, half).
